Constantly criticized seems to be an ongoing issue for the Australian rapper. Being constantly criticized seems to be a never ending thing. On one interview, she stated that the constant criticism and a strong requisition to leave the rap game from the public has to do something with her gender. Now, I wrote an article a few weeks back on Iggy and her place in Hip-Hop and I think it ties into this new subject. In a musical stand point, I think she is pretty talented, but I am not a fan of her work. Many rappers in the industry, T.I, Lupe Fiasco, seems to be backing and supporting this artist every step of the way and have defended the artist on social media such as Twitter and etc. Do I want her to leave the industry? Personally, no. Just because I do not like her material does not mean she is not talented. But that is just one point of view. What do the Hip-Hop fans think? Does she need to leave Hip-Hop? Does she have a place in the business? Could this be another Rebecca Black situation? Those are some questions I have yet to find an answer to. Leave your thoughts and comments below.
