So it seems that Lombardo is ready to reunite with Slayer once again. It seems that the intentions is that to retire the band properly. He has been quite the drummer over the years and I think many fans will appreciate it very much if this reunion did happen. So for those who do not know why Lombardo left the band, it was because there was some financial issues arose within the band and he left the band on a bad note. Now, is this reunion going to ever happen? That is one question that only Slayer can answer. Slayer has been the grandfather of the Thrash Metal genre and I think that there is a legacy to be preserved. There have been recent speculation of other potential reunions with vague responses from other musicians and bands, but this one seems to be a sure thing, that is if Slayer agrees to this reunion and personally, I don't see why not. I think Slayer should also set their differences aside and make this happen. The metal world needs this reunion to happen and let the masterpieces come together. How will this all play out?
