The Game, The Year of the Wolf.

Alright guys, I am here to talk about The Game's new album, "The Year of the Wolf". My first impressions, I was not too sure what to think about it. As I listened to the album, I begin to realize that there was something new about the production; the style of the beats was new. Its more calm, collected and precise than his previous work.


Now, does it mean it is working for him? Well Just selling barely 42000 copies of the album in the US alone is a statement enough. Personally, I think the "over-promotion" did it. Does the sales do it justice? I am not entirely sure. Though my one major point of this album is that the choice of instrument and song writing gave it a pretty depressing sound to the album, which I think it makes it not that enjoyable. Last complaint, the auto-tune. I thought they should have invested a little more time and consideration before taking such routes in the production. Overall, the album is a 6.5/10.
