Alright ladies and gents, today I am about to dig up a rather old story that happened a few years back. The founders of Cash Money Records, Bryan "Birdman" Williams and his brother,Ronald "Slim" Williams, decided to dabble in the oil business. where they were suppose to acquire leases pertaining to drill for oil and etc. Years went by, nothing was heard of the company until one day, Birdman did an interview and claimed that the oil business of his was doing really well. Well Bloomberg called out the brothers, and to make a long story short, Bloomberg conducted an investigation to see if the brothers were truly making a profit. Apparently, when Bloomberg made some phone calls to their friends in the business, non of them have heard of the "Bronald" brothers at all. It turned out that the brothers were conned into forking out quite a substantial amount of money and never heard anything back since the money disappeared and chose not to report it nor disclose the matter to anyone. One of their largest money maker in their label, Lil Wayne, is also about to walk. Is this a good image for the company? Is this label going to last? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
